Technology

 

Cold Metal Fusion (CMF) is an advanced 3D printing technology that combines polymer binder jetting with traditional metal sintering to produce high-density metal parts at a fraction of the cost of laser-based metal printing.

A metal powder is blended with a polymer binder and printed on an open-architecture system (such as Sinterit Lisa-X or Lisa-XM). After printing, parts go through debinding and furnace sintering to achieve near-full metal density and strong mechanical properties.


CMF enables production of stainless steel, tool steel, titanium, and other alloys with excellent detail, repeatability, and scalability — making it ideal for functional prototypes, tooling, and low-volume production without the high cost and complexity of DMLS or SLM systems.

Ti6Al4V
A high-strength titanium alloy known for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and biocompatibility. Commonly used in aerospace, motorsports, and medical implants requiring lightweight yet durable metal components.

TIA|4822
A high-performance titanium alloy designed for advanced manufacturing and high-temperature applications. Offers strong mechanical properties, oxidation resistance, and durability for aerospace and high-stress industrial environments.

Inconel 625
A nickel-based superalloy with outstanding corrosion, oxidation, and high-temperature resistance. Ideal for aerospace, energy, marine, and chemical processing components exposed to extreme heat and harsh environments.

Haynes 282
A high-temperature nickel superalloy engineered for excellent creep strength, weldability, and thermal stability. Commonly used in aerospace turbines and high-heat industrial applications requiring long-term strength at elevated temperatures.

MAR 247
A nickel-based superalloy designed for extreme temperature and high-stress environments. Known for exceptional creep resistance and durability, making it ideal for turbine blades, aerospace, and power generation components.

316L Stainless Steel
A low-carbon stainless steel offering excellent corrosion resistance, toughness, and versatility. Widely used in medical, marine, food processing, and industrial applications requiring durable and corrosion-resistant parts.

17-4PH Stainless Steel
A precipitation-hardening stainless steel providing high strength, hardness, and good corrosion resistance. Frequently used for aerospace, tooling, and industrial components requiring strong, wear-resistant metal parts.

M2 Tool Steel
A high-speed tool steel known for exceptional hardness, wear resistance, and heat tolerance. Ideal for cutting tools, dies, molds, and industrial tooling that must maintain sharpness and strength under high temperatures.
